Below are the core components of my Life Management System. Each page has its own short explanation.

This page only exists to host the template. I don’t use a Homepage in Notion, with the To-Do page or a Project Page as my usual landing point, though there’s no reason this system couldn’t integrate with your preferred Notion set-up.

If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me on Messenger, Slack, WhatsApp, or however else you found out about this template. If you somehow found this template without knowing how to get in touch with me (how??) you can message me on Ko-fi, where you can also drop me a donation if this template added value for you.

Glossary:

I’m likely a little inconsistent with application of these, but have tried to use the following terms in descriptions

Pages: As defined by Notion. Includes Notes, Tasks, and pages within Databases.

Blocks: As defined by Notion. It’s worth noting that a Block moved into a Database will automatically become a Page.

Databases: As defined by Notion. This is one of the most powerful tools in Notion, and often one Database will be viewed from multiple places using Filter Views to show different sets of Pages.

Knowledge Management System (KMS): The Import Apr 19, 2020 Database. Where information is stored.

Notes: Pages within the KMS. Huge variety in size and content.

Task Management System (TMS): The To-Do Database. Where actions are taken.

Tasks: Pages within the TMS. May be standalone Action Points or contain information and multiple Action Points.

Action Point: One specific thing that can be accomplished.
